This is a major amendment to an existing commercial marina. The applicant would like to construct a raised walkway (1.5 m wide and 9.75 m long) secured by two vibration installed steel pilings. Connected to this is a ramp (1.5 m wide x 9.75 m long) and ramp will sit on the existing dock. The dock will be secured with piles and will have supports to keep shore end 1.5 metres from lake bottom. Marine Grade aluminum will be used for the entire structure of the walkway and all decking is fibreglass reinforced plastic (Thruflow Decking) constructed in such a way to allow 63% light to pass through. The proposed raised walkway will be used to access an existing dock used for dispensing boat gas and temporary moorage for store customers.
