Legal Description: Unsurveyed Crown Land in the Vicinity of Johanson Creek, Cassiar District.

 

Enerfin Developments has applied for a Windpower Investigative License near Johanson Lake. This application is an amendment to the previous application area. The new area is approximately 6km to the Northwest of the original application area.

An investigative licence may be issued to any proponent requiring access to the land for appraisals, inspections, analyses, inventories, surveys or other investigations of Crown land or its natural resources, or where otherwise required. Improvements are restricted to proposed data collection sites (if any are noted), and are minimal impact (if any is noted at all). The tenure holder must permit public access to the area without interference. The maximum term for an investigative licence is 5 years. A Land Act Section 11 Investigative Licence is the form of tenure provided to authorize initial investigation. The Licence area cannot exceed 5000 ha. except with Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, Regional Executive Director approval.
