The City of Surrey is preparing to construct the last missing link of the Fraser Heights Greenway between 156 Street and 168 Street, running parallel to Highway 1. The Fraser Heights Greenway will be a continuous AAA cycling route of 5.5 km, connecting the multi-use pathway on the Port Mann Bridge to the Tynehead Overpass. The proposed greenway will run on 102 Avenue as a neighbourhood bikeway betwen 166 Street to 167 A Street. A new 85 meter long (4.0 meters wide) multi-use pathway is proposed to connect to the Fraser Heights Greenway to the Tynehead Overpass. The purpose of this application is for the construction and connection of the multi-use pathway from 167 A Street to the existing green way located on provincial crown land at 10177 - 168 Street. |
