Legal Description: All that unsurveyed Crown land in the vicinity of Stein Valley Provincial Park and Mehatl Provincial Park, lying within Kamloops Division Yale District, Yale Division Yale District and New Westminster District

 

The applicant, Alpine Air Adventures, Inc. has developed plans over the last two years and is now applying to start a non-motorized high end guided backcountry winter and summer backcountry operation in the headwaters of the Kwoiek watershed almost directly west of Kanaka Bar. Small group wilderness activities will include guided backcountry skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. The area is helicopter access, and the client plans to build Kwoiek Mountain lodge - a sixteen bed lodge near Chochiwa Lake within the 10,000 ha non-exclusive use application area.
