This application is for a portion of Crown Land which will be required for the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant (NSWWTP) upgrade to a secondary sewage treatment facility. The NSWWTP must provide secondary level treatment by December 31, 2020 to meet the requirements of the Federal Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations (WSER).

The area of Crown Land required for the project is an approx. 15m wide strip located along the north edge of the existing Lions Gate WWTP that is needed for permanent below grade sewerage infrastructure.
