The upland lot owners are applying to build a private dock consisting of aluminum ramp and timber frame pier and a concrete float on the foreshore fronting their upland property for the purpose of mooring their boat, and to provide moorage for guests. The owners propose to moor a max of 3 boats. There will be no commercial uses of the moorage. The proposed structures include a wooden pier 28.5 x 2.5m, a 14m by 1.5m aluminum ramp, a 3.7m by 9.1m concrete float with another 3.7 by 18.3m concrete float perpendicular to it. The floats will be held in place by 0.45m diameter steel pilings. There is an existing structure located in shallow water which is to be removed during construction. |
